The first time i met the asterite i was using a glitchy save password which allowed ecco to have unlimited air before being granted it in-game.This kinda fucked up the asterite, and i sat for an hour waiting for it to talk to me
I even went to the shop at one point. came back and the fucker still wouldnt chat ;_;

This one is seriously pissing me off, because it didnt turn out like i'd imagined. I should have just continued the darker blues around the dolphin, or left it raggy, but i stupidly cornered it off and i cant for the life of me remember why.
Anyways, i really can't be bothered with attacking this more, because its gotten to that stage where the more i fiddle the worse it looks.
I like the effect on the objects in the image however-evennif the background lets it down.
They were watercoloured and then scanned as the paper i was working on was way too small/thin to continue layering paint on,then digitally messed with.
I like how it makes the skin of Ecco more realistically beaten up, like a real dolphin.
ooooooh, cool. it reminds me of this one guy's art... uhm, can't remember his name, but his artwork was on folders and stuff, and when i'd shop for school supplies when i was little, i always wanted the folders with HIS art on them. so much better than the lisa frank ones. XD He always did pictures of animals, and would subtly incorporate planets and stars and stuff into the environment. anyway, nice job. my favorite part is the texture on the dolphin's back.
Makes me want to play Ecco but all I can get hold of at the moment is the MegaDrive versions. Eccos skin looks really realistic and I like the water lighting.
Who or what isAsterite?
Gotta watch out for overworking a picture, should stop when you have the idea done.
